Stavanger - It is all about versatility

New Stavanger, now available also as a frameset
The easiest way to describe the completely updated Pelago Stavanger is to talk about versatility. Stavanger is truly the most versatile Pelago bike and it serves multiple purposes without sacrificing anything.

Compared to the original Pelago Stavanger, new model has a lot more features from the look to the technical specifications. Stavanger’s size range has broaden a lot and now riders from 146cm to approximately 210cm can enjoy this bike without a problem.

Stavanger frameset comes with a new selection of features, but also a new colorway and decals. The design of the bike is timeless – just like any other Pelago bike.

Plenty of options for customisation
The new Pelago Stavanger is updated by adding features we thought were missing in the frames of Stavanger Outback and Stavanger Commuter. With wide range of sizes (from 146cm to 210cm riders), well thought details, multipurpose geometry and multifunctional features, Stavanger is your choice. Multifunctional features include great tire clearance, great fender clearance, dropper post ready, carbon fork capability and Di2 ready – just to name a few things.

New Stavanger frameset comes also with thru axles as we moved on from quick release with this model. Tapered headtube allows you to add carbon fork easily and great selection of different kinds of mounting points will keep your water bottles, racks and fenders in the right place. The rigid CrMo frame offers plenty of options for customization.

Three mounting points for water bottle cages: two inside the main triangle and one below the downtube. The top tube also has features mounting points for tank bags or whatever you may come up with.

Custom Dropouts. Dropouts have a detachable derailleur hanger (designed by Paragon Machine Works) and can be easily changed in case it breaks. Paragon hangers are widely available should you need to replace it. The dropout also has separate mounting slots for a trailer.

Pelago Stavanger - An adventure-ready all-road bike. Made for fast gravel riding, heading out for bikepacking or long distance randonneuring. The rigid CrMo frame offers plenty of options for customization.

Bottom bracket remains BSA. The BB is the same as in the older Stavanger (68mm BSA).The BSA has threads, which makes them a reliable option.They are also widely used and their availability will remain good for years to come. Di2 ready. Cable routing inside the tube enables hidden wiring for Shimano Di2 gears.

Frametubes are wider and thinner than in the old Stavanger. The updated tubes are butted to 08/05/08 which is slimmed down from 09/06/09. Bigger diameter makes the frame stiffer which is a good feature especially when carrying stuff on a bike. Internal butting makes the headtube joints strong. Tubing is Taiwan made chromo, the frame is electroplated for corrosion protection and finished with durable powder coating.

The new fork has a new custom crown enabling wider tire clearance. The fork also offers a selection of different mounting points for bottles or anything- cages. Naturally, it also has the eyelets for racks and fenders. Rear triangle also has mounting points for mudguards and rear racks and additional mounting points for the saddle bag rack.

Sizes

• Frame size (1) is measured from the center of the Bottom Bracket Axis to the top of the Seat Tube (C-T).

• Rider Height suggests the average sizing for the bike-rider fit. If your height is between two sizes, choose the smaller size for more comfortable riding position.

• Stand Over Height (2) tells the height of the top tube measured from the ground. Your Inseam should always be higher than the Stand Over Height. (2)
