DELIVERIES TO FINLAND
All bicycles are pre-assembled and packed in a box for shipping when shipped via Matkahuolto or fully assembled if the delivery method used is Click & Collect. Matkahuolto delivery time is 2-5 working days and Click & Collect delivery time about 4 weeks depending on order queue. The delivery time may also vary depending on the bike specific delivery schedule found on the bike model page. Accessories ordered separately are delivered during 3 working days when products are in stock. Pelago Bicycles are not responsible for any delayments caused by third parties such as shipping companies’ delays.
DELIVERIES TO EUROPE
All bicycles are pre-assembled and packed in a box for shipping. The assembly instructions can be found here. Delivery time varies on destination country, but generally is about 6-12 working days. The delivery time may also vary depending on the bike specific delivery schedule found on the bike model page. Pelago Bicycles are not responsible for any delays caused by third parties such as shipping companies’ delays.
If an order delay is caused directly by Pelago Bicycles, the customer has a right to cancel the order. An order must be canceled by e-mail, phone or by letter and cancellations must include order number, canceled product and customer’s contact information. Customer receives a full refund on returned orders.

Unfortunately we are unable to deliver products to consumers in the United Kingdom at the moment.
We deliver bicycles and accessories to European countries. Currently we don’t ship outside Europe. Estimated delivery time to European countries is about 7-9 weekdays depending on order queue. Every order is delivered with a tracking code to follow the delivery.

Shipping fees are added automatically when adding products to shopping basket. You can select a country from a drop-down menu, or if you have registered an account your fees will be automatically calculated by the address you have added on your account.
Accessories delivered to Finland can either be delivered to nearest Matkahuolto office for pick-up or delivered home. For home delivery the customer needs to add a phone number to contact details.
It is also possible to buy products from the webstore and pick them up from our Helsinki store. This option can be selected in the check-out process.
DELIVERY METHOD IN FINLAND
Bicycles and accessories ordered with a bicycle are delivered via Matkahuolto or picked up fully assembled when the delivery method is Click & Collect. Bicycles are delivered to Finnish addresses via Matkahuolto in a box. Accessory orders are delivered by Matkahuolto. Bicycles are delivered partially disassembled due to shipping box size regulations.
The customer needs to assemble the bicycle and add-ons in order to ride the bicycle. Pelago Bicycles will provide assembling instructions and other help to customer if needed.
DELIVERY METHOD TO EUROPE
Bicycles are delivered via DSV or fully assembled when Click & Collect is used as the delivery method. Shipping costs are determined by destination country. Accessories ordered with bicycles are shipped for free.
Bicycles are delivered partially disassembled due to shipping box size regulations. The customer needs to assemble the bicycle and add-ons in order to ride the bicycle. Pelago Bicycles will provide assembling instructions and other help to customer if needed. Accessories are delivered mainly by GLS. Some accessories, such as framesets, can be also delivered via DSV.
When an order is packed and processed for shipping, customers are notified by e-mail to the address provided. The e-mail includes the courier used, a tracking number and instructions on how to track the order.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Customer has a 14 day period for returning or exchanging products. The period begins when the customer receives the product. Before returning or exchanging the product, the customer has to contact Pelago Bicycles by e-mail, phone or letter. The customer has to return the product with instructions provided by Pelago Bicycles. If the return instructions are violated, the right to return products may lapse. If a product is installed or attached to the bicycle or in other way used in such way that it cannot be sold again, the right to return lapses. All products must be returned on their original packages.
When returning products in Finland, Pelago Bicycles will pay the return postage fee. Returned products abroad Finland must pay return postage fee, unless product is faulty or different of what was ordered.
Please pay attention! Bicycles or products that are manufactured, assembled or customized in a way that upon return re-selling the product causes considerable economic loss to Pelago Bicycles are not necessarily granted a full right of return. These cases include such as custom paints or shortening the front fork length to lower dimension than a standard size.
When returning products, please include the following information:

We do not accept returns after 14 days of delivery date. When the return is accepted, the money will be refunded to customer’s account after processing. By Finnish law, Pelago Bicycles is bound to refund the customer in 30 days after the product is returned.
PROBLEM CASES AND FAULTY PRODUCTS
If a product has been lost or damages during shipping or the customer has received a different product than ordered, the customer has to contact Pelago Bicycles immediately by mail at email@example.com or phone +358 (0)45 161 6847.
The announcement for a faulty or wrong product has to be made within 14 days after receiving the product.
