Pelago was founded to cherish cycling as a genuine mode of transport. We ride to deliver a breeze of fresh air to the urban gridlock, bringing joy and freedom to the daily journey. FRAMES

Our frame design is inspired from the classic bike aesthetics, which stay relevant today and for years to come, paying respect and blending into the timeless architecture of your city or town. The rigid steel frame with timeless aesthetics is a durable and reliable choice for multiple cycling purposes – from long distance gravel road riding to urban commuting and beyond. We are famous of our frames with simple, minimalistic design with small and beautiful details in them.

ERGONOMIC SIZING

The most important thing to consider when buying a new bike is the size of the bike. No matter how beautiful or advanced a bicycle is, if it doesn’t fit the rider there’s no point using it. A correctly sized bicycle feels comfortable and easy to ride, and makes you want to keep on riding. Every Pelago bike comes with various sizes so you have plenty of options to choose from. Every person is individual in size, and there’s no average rider – people with same height can have very different measurements in feet, hands or torso. Therefore we strongly recommend test riding bicycles, measuring your body, measuring previously ridden bikes for comparison or going to a bicycle fitting service in a local bicycle shop.

Comfortable riding position and proper bike fit are essentials so that you can produce the most power, most efficiently. Comfortable riding position means you have a position on the bike that lets you ride as long as you want, as hard as you want, and stay comfortable the entire time. We at Pelago are convinced that cycling is more comfortable, fluent and efficient with a well-functioning easy-rolling machine. We want to design bikes that not only look good, but also feel good. GEARS

Pelago’s gear reputation is wide and versatile. From 3 gear Pelago Brooklyn to the 1×11 Pelago Stavanger and anything in between, our gear range lets you climb hills at a comfortable pace and go fast on flat. The purpose of the gears is to make cycling more efficient, more fun and move you from A to B faster and that is exactly what our bikes are for. All our gears are from Shimano.

BRAKES

Brakes are one of the most important parts of any bicycle. All Pelago bikes are equipped with the reliable and durable brakes. Each bike has its own brake system that is meant to serve the bike’s purpose in the best possible way. Our brakes vary from classic and simple coaster and rim brakes to efficient hydraulic disc brakes.

LIGHTS

Nothing annoys as much as cycling in the dark without a proper light. That is why some of our bicycles come with lights included. For the bike models without the lights included, we have quality lights available from us as accessories. Shiny front light shows the way in the dark and the red rear light informs other road users about your existence.

PUNCTURE PROTECTED TYRES

All Pelago bikes have puncture protected tyres to make your transportation as easy as possible.

We use Schwalbe Spicer tyres in Pelago Capri, Pelago Hanko Commuter and Pelago Airisto Commuter, Schwalbe Delta Cruiser+ tyres in Pelago Brooklyn and Pelago Bristol, Schwalbe G-One gravel tyres in Airisto Outback and Hanko Outback. Pelago Hanko Street rocks with tan wall WTB Riddler 45C tyres.

ACCESSORIES

Our line-up of accessories and parts are designed with a universal approach to fit them on Pelago or any other brand. Durable, functional and beautiful – built to serve the purpose. Pelago Commuter Front Rack is a classic porteur style rack, that works great for anything from daily commuting to longer tours. Pelago Commuter Rear Rack is perfect for touring, commuting and everyday riding.

Pelago Rasket is a solid fusion of a basket and a rack. Great for daily use and touring with panniers and Pelago Stainless Steel Basket is just a simple basket to carry your everyday stuff. Designed specifically for Brooklyn but fits other bikes with available attachment points.

Pelago Utility Front Rack is a sturdy medium-size front rack designed for Bristol and Brooklyn models, comes in matching colours. Pelago Utility Rear Rack is a sturdy rear rack designed for Bristol and Brooklyn models, comes in matching colours like the front rack.
